Intumescent Firestop Pipe Collar

Intumescent Firestop Pipe Collar consists of a powder coated steel sleeve and attached flexible graphite based intumescent sheets which in 4 mm thick per layer and 50 or 60mm wide. Under the influence of fire, the expandable graphite strip swells and prevent the spread of fire through PVC, HDPE & PP pipes where they penetrate fire compartment walls and floors.

The BIYOU Intumescent Firestop Pipe Collar is a factory-manufactured device designed to protect plastic pipes penetrating fire-rated walls and floors. When exposed to temperatures in excess of 320°F (160°C), the insert materials begins to expand (intumesce) rapidly to form a dense, highly insulative char. Its free expansion ranges from 32-64 times original (pre-expanded) volume. Expansion continues up to 1,000°F (538°C).  PVC Firestop Collars should be installed on any plastic pipe that penetrates a fire-rated wall, ceiling, or floor.
