Introduction
The BIYOU Intumescent flexible Fire Tape is a high-performance intumescent material based on expandable graphite. In case of fire it can expand to multiple times its original volume and forms a heat-isolating shield. Which is one of the most versatile intumescent products on the market giving the benefits of flexibility and resistance to atmospheric degradation. No special protective measures are necessary to ensure that this product will expand on heating when required to do so. The highly flexible material will conform to accommodate tight corners where it is impossible or difficult to use other rigid intumescent strip products.
Description
The BIYOU Intumescent flexible Fire Tape designed to seal the air spaces between doors, frames and glass to help prevent the spread of fire, smoke, toxic gases and other byproducts from penetrating into adjacent areas. Intumescent materialexpand more than 30 fold when heatedand forms a hard char when exposed to heat. This flexible intumescent tape can be quickly cut to required sizes.
Application
The BIYOU Intumescent flexible Fire Tape developed for a wide range of applications where an intumescent material is necessary to maintain the system integrity and insulation in case of fire. These systems are for example;
